5 Things to Know for a Better Week

The most important thing: It's a short one!

When Tuesday feels like Monday, it either means you have a very long week ahead, or it is going to be a pretty short week. Today we feel the latter.

We hope you had a relaxing holiday weekend and that you will have a great short week ahead. Here are 5 things you should know for this week:

1. Tonight at there will be a  from 6-8 p.m. The cost is $25 but we are sure with a quality event such as this, the price is a small one to pay.

2. The Twinsburg Board of Education will meet tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. in the large meeting room (L-Pod). Look for a meeting preview before the meeting and updates the next day.

3. This Saturday head to the to check out . The veterans of World War II will be on hand to share their story. Nicknamed the "Greatest Generation," these men and women rescued democracy both on their home turf as well as all over the world. W.E.B. 'Bill' Mason will regale you with stories from his stint as a bomber pilot.

4. Don't forget Sunday is Sept. 11 and in order to honor the 10th anniversary the library is hosting the . The Western Reserve Community Band will perform for the gathering.

5. Did you know ... On this day in 1901, President William McKinley, an Ohio native, was shot at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, NY, by anarchist Leon Czolgosz. McKinley died a week later. Look it up.
