5 Things to Know This Week

It's only Monday and the week is filling up fast

Hopefully you had an enjoyable weekend, and had the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of Sunday, Sept. 11. A somber day for sure, but a great day to remember those fallen and the heroes from 9/11.

But now we are back at it and as everyone knows, Monday brings with it more to schedule and do. So here are 5 things happening this week you should know about:

1. The Twinsburg Planning Commission meets tonight at 7 p.m. inside council chambers at City Hall. We'll have a preview of the meeting later today.

2. City Council will meet Tuesday night, starting with the caucus at 7 p.m. and then the actual meeting at 7:30 p.m. We'll be there with a preview of the meeting and coverage of what happened the next morning.

3. Grab your tights and head to on Thursday as the performs at 7 p.m. It's almost half-way to St. Patty's Day!

4. This Saturday is the at the . You are invited to enjoy dinner and live music, you can swing your partner round and round with line dancing and more. Throughout the night, there will be a live auction and basket raffle conducted by the Foundation. Tickets are $30 per person and include two drink tickets (beer or wine).

5. Are you a high school student looking ahead to college and need to take the ACT/SAT? The library is hosting on Sunday, Sept. 18. This class is for students who plan to take the upcoming SAT and ACT tests. The class will feature question and answer section to follow the presentation. Parents are welcome to attend.
