A Look Back at The Week That Was in Twinsburg

Missed something on our site this week? We've highlighted some of the big news stories for the week of March 7-13

I don't know about you, but this has been a busy week here at the Twinsburg Patch.

But, now it is Sunday and time to relax and reflect on the past week. We do this column every weekend and it amazes me just how much happens in seven days. But if you missed something big or just want to go back through the big stories of the week, here is a quick review of what we covered this week:

  • We covered the Twinsburg High School Show Choir, over the weekend. The show featured choirs from both the high school and R.B. Chamberlin Middle School.
  • Planning commission approved to City Council changes to legislation that would better regulate in the community. The planning commission also approved to council a conditional use permit for . Both issues still need final approval from council.
  • Twinsburg City School District officially changed the to Monday, April 25. It was originally planned for the first day of spring break.
  • , of Twinsburg, celebrated her 100th birthday with a special honor by the mayor and City Council.
  • The Census this week, revealing that Twinsburg's population has grown by 10 percent in 10 years and is also more diverse. 
  • Mayor Katherine Procop issued her to residents, highlighting challenges and new opportunites for the city both in 2010 and the future.
  • Senate Bill 5 hit Twinsburg this week and we got some. SB5 has generated about how it will affect Ohio public workers.
  • The Lady Tigers basketball team, earning a spot in the final four for the state championship this week.
