Another Winter Storm Warning Issued Includes Twinsburg

Mix of freezing rain and snow will begin tonight and snow accumulation could reach a foot by tomorrow

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for much of northern Ohio, including Twinsburg.

The warning will be in effect from 9 p.m. tonight through 4 p.m Friday.

According to the weather service, a strong low pressure system will move from Cincinatti toward Youngstown tonight, with rain, sleet and eventually snow and heavy winds. The heaviest accumulation is expected between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. Friday.

In Twinsburg, the weather service expects three to seven inches of snow by Friday afternoon. It's also expected to be blustery by Friday morning, with wind speeds as high as 39 mph.

By Friday afternoon, many areas could see snow accumulation of six to 12 inches. Winds are expected to pick up Friday, with gusts expected up to 35 mph.
