A new holiday question must be asked this year: To eat the turkey or see one live?
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is offering free admission to the zoo and rainforest this Thursday, Nov. 24. The zoo will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It should be a fun event for the whole family as visitors will see animals enjoy special holiday treats throughout the day. Animal enrichment demonstrations also will be planned for the festivities.
A full schedule of Thanksgiving at the zoo activities can be found online at clemetzoo.com.
If you can't make it this Thanksgiving, from Nov. 1 through March 31, 2012, admission is discounted to $8 per person, $5 for kids ages 2-11 and is free for children younger than two and zoo members. Plus they offer free parking.
