Councilman Ted Yates announced the vigil during Tuesday's city council meeting. Organizers of the vigil asked that media not attend, Yates said.

Tami Wong, 46, was stabbed to death in her home on Abrams Drive on Feb. 24. Her husband, Glenn Wong, 50, has been charged with aggravated murder in her death.

The couple's two children were at home during the incident. The 10-year-old daughter was the one who called 911.

The Twinsburg City Council held a moment of silence for Tami Wong Tuesday night and said a prayer for her two children.

"She was a friend, and always concerned about the city," said Councilman Seth Rodin. "Our thoughts and prayers are to her and her children."
