At our July 7th WWII Reminiscences program, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., we welcome Dr. Bud Wentz, a B-17 pilot during WWII. On one memorable occasion his plane was rammed by a German Fighter (an ME-109).
By wild coincidence the collision was captured by combat photographers and eventually shown on the History Channel. Come and hear ‘Bud’s’ telling of this unusual event and see the actual footage.
On Saturday, July 14 at 10:30 a.m., be amazed as juggler Bill Roddy steps into a clear plastic cage and juggles with paint sticks to create one of a kind splatter-art paintings. This will be an outdoor event so please dress for the weather. General registration begins June 30.
If you’re looking for something to do tomorrow afternoon, the library is hosting a movie matinee on Friday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. We’re showing Green Lantern, PG-13. Children under age 13 will need a guardian or parent present.
