Christine Miley, MSSA; LSW, a social worker from Child Guidance and Family Solutions of Summit County, will be here to discuss cyberbullying of children on Monday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m. Our children have access to many forms of social networking, like texting, Facebook, and Twitter. These opportunities can lead to sophisticated incidents of bullying. Learn what you can do as a parents to prevent this from happening to your children.

World Paranormal Investigations will be here on Monday, October 22nd at 6:30 p.m. Kathy and Greg Feketik will  thrill you with tales of ghost hunting. Their investigations have recently taken them all over the country and they want to share these creepy adventures with you. Refreshments will be served.

Kids Corner

Bricks 4 Kidz: Model Designer 101. Ages 7 and up. Bricks4Kidz returns to the Twinsburg Public Library this fall with new sessions. Model Designer 101 runs Mondays from 4-5:00 p.m. on October 15, 22, 29, and November 5. This program explores the creative process of Lego model design. Participants will learn the function of different Lego components and discover how these components work together to create all kinds of structures and designs. You do not need to have taken other Bricks 4Kidz classes to register for this. $40.00 cost.

Creative Multimedia for Teens: Photographs and Fiction. Grade 6 and up. (5 weeks). Get creative with film and language. During the first session on Saturday, October 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. you will learn some techniques for taking creative photos using digital cameras. The remaining sessions are on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Learn how to edit your photos on the computer; then write a story based on your photos, create a paper book, and download the story in ebook form. You must bring a digital camera and have a basic understanding how it works. You must also have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word.

Movie and Popcorn: Super 8. Come watch Super 8 with friends and free popcorn. September 28 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. No registration required. Also, Crafty Wednesdays are 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Starting October 10, drop into Teen Crossings after school to make a new craft each week. You don't have to stay the whole time, but you're welcome to stay as long as you want.

The Twinsburg Library has a selection of full-size theatrical posters, including a several for children's movies, that will be given away. The movies are J Edgar, The Dictator, The Titanic, People Like Us, John Carter, The Wrath of the Titans, Cinderella, IMAX Born to Be Wild, Jake Saves Bucky, Doc McStuffins, Journey 2, The Big Teal Takeover and Let It Shine. Entries for the drawing are available at the Information Desk. Last day to enter is October 18.
