PLETHORA OF INSECTS

Find out what's happening in Twinsburgwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Saturday, Sept. 8, 2–5 p.m., Liberty Park / Pond Brook Conservation Area 

Join Metro Parks and the City of Twinsburg to discover one of our most beautiful conservation areas to discover caterpillars and other insects that are being preyed upon throughout the fall. Water, binoculars and long pants recommended. Bug jars and field guides provided.

FALL AT THE LEDGES

Sunday, Sept. 9, 3 p.m., Liberty Park/Twinsburg Ledges Area 

Families can join a naturalist to explore the beauty of the season on one of our most breathtaking trails.

BACK YARDS GONE WILD: NATIVES FOR YOUR HOME 

Sunday, Sept. 16, 2 p.m., Liberty Park/Stone House 

Join a naturalist and park partners to take a peek at a beautiful array of plants that you can put in your yard. We may be able to view the variety of insects that will use these awesome plants, too. Bring ideas, questions and drinking water.

LEDGES LOOP DE LOOP 

Tuesday, Sept. 18, 7 p.m., Liberty Park / Twinsburg Ledges Area 

Join a naturalist for this lovely 1.1-mile hike along Liberty’s ledges.

A NATURALIST’S UTOPIA: POND BROOK

Friday, Sept. 21, 10 a.m., Liberty Park / Pond Brook Conservation Area 

Join a Metro Parks naturalist and City of Twinsburg naturalist Stanley Stine for an extended hike through the “mysterious” southern part of Pond Brook Conservation Area.

We will search for rare wildflowers, fungi, dragonflies and other signs of wildlife. Wear sturdy boots that can get wet, and bring snacks and water.
