Flood Waters Begin to Recede as Twinsburg Cleans Up

Several areas throughout the city were affected by fast-rising waters from Sunday night's storm and snow melt

While the National Weather Service has extended the flood warning until 9 p.m. tonight, Twinsburg's Public Works Director said waters are now receding.

"There was flooding all over the city this morning," Chris Campbell said. "Now we're just doing a lot of cleanup."

Campbell said they placed high-water signs in streets throughout the city to warn drivers of the flooding conditions including the intersections of Ravenna and Shepherd roads, Darrow Road and Creekside Drive and on East Idlewood Drive.
