Fundraiser Planned In Honor Of Tami Wong

On My Own Two Feet is a charitable marathon that raises funds to support victims of domestic violence. This year's marathon specifically will help raise funds to honor the memory of Tami Mitchell Wong, who died Feb. 24.

A charitable marathon that raises money to help victims of domestic violence will honor Tami Wong, the Twinsburg woman who died during a domestic dispute in February.

On My Own Two Feet is a charitable marathon that raises funds to support victims of domestic violence. The race will take place in Kent on April 20.

The proceeds of your donations and race fees all go towards local women in shelters to empower survivors of domestic abuse.

Tami Wong was stabbed to death on Feb. 24. Her husband, Glenn Wong, has been charged with her murder.

Those interested may donate in Tami's honor on the registration page or choose to come run or walk a half or full marathon, which will be at The Portage Bike and Hike trail and Towner's Woods.

"Although Tami is no longer with us she will be there in spirit," said Dawn Harrison-Drasner, one of the event's organizers and a friend of Tami Wong.
