Don't miss these upcoming events at the Twinsburg library

The is being held on Monday, June 4. We are calling Super Heroes of all ages to join forces on imaginary fun-filled reading and listening adventures. Have your picture taken in the superhero photo booth complete with costume accessories, pick up your Summer Reading Club packet, and attend the 2:00 p.m. program Outback Ray’s Amazing Animals and the movie at 6:30 p.m. -- The Incredibles (PG).

Raised Garden Bedding By Home Depot

On Thursday, May 31, 6:30-8 p.m., identify the basic steps involved in eco-gardening. Build a raised gardening bed. Learn how to plant annuals and perennials and more!

Summer Music Series

Help us kick off Music in the Garden summer music series with Harpist Lee Ann Anderson on Monday, June 4, at 7 pm. Enjoy the TPL reading garden while listening to a selection popular and classical favorites on the harp. In case of rain, concert will be indoors. Register online or call 330-425-4268, x 2.

Savvy Shopping with the Coupon Guy

Get tips from the original coupon guy on Monday, June 11 at 7 p.m. Joe Daugirdas, the Coupon Guy, has been teaching consumers how to save money for over 6 years. He goes beyond couponing, showing ways to pay less for gasoline, travel, weddings, and much more. He is often featured on television, radio and newspapers, and now comes to Twinsburg with his saving ways. This program is a kick-off event for the new Savvy Shoppers Couponing Group, which will meet monthly beginning Thursday June 14 at 6:30 p.m. to share coffee, coupons and conversation. Register for either or both programs.

Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a game show-like competition to test your knowledge of the four books that everyone on your team reads. Competition is on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 7:00 pm at . It’s a friendly competition with real buzzers and loads of fun! This year we are facing Stow-Munroe Falls and Cuyahoga Falls public libraries. If you would like to join, just let a librarian in Teen Crossings or Children’s Place know. Spaces are limited.
