TPL: Friends of the Library Book Sale Is Back

Bargain hunters, collectors, and book lovers have long awaited return of the Friends of the Library Book Sale and the Friends' of the Library Gift Shop.

On Saturday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (open 9:30 a.m. for members), The Friends' Shop will open to the public.  At the end of the hall of the main lobby, past the beautiful new art gallery space, the Friends now have a special shop offering book sale items and gift items all week long during their scheduled hours. No longer will you have to wait for the once-a-month book sale to find great deals. 

On the grand opening day, Aug. 13, the Friends will have more than 100 puzzles to choose from. As always, there are shelves stacked with books, movies, music, and more.

Books cost, on average, $1 to $.50.  Don't miss the grand opening of The Friends' Shop and peruse the gorgeous photographs on display by Varina and Jay Patel in the new art gallery.
