Twins Days Festival is a Real Circus This Year

Everyone was seeing double in Twinsburg, Ohio.

This year's Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio welcomed twins from all over the country and the world. It is the largest festival dedicated to Twins in the country.

Twins who registered at the event could participate in contests, talent shows, and other fun activities.  And most of all, they are able to bond with other twins.

Fortunately weather did not hault the festivities.  The bright sun made it possible for around 1,500 twins to come out and enjoy the fun.

This year the event has a circus theme, where anyone is welcome to come in costume for the events.  Miller attributes the success of the festival to its fun attractions.

"It is fun, entertainment, children's rides and games, beer garden, firworks, it is a festival like all other festivals, with the exception it is a celebration of multiple birth," said Miller.

Awards were given out at the festival for many things including oldest and youngest twins.  Eight week old twins won awards for being the youngest twins at the festival, while two sisters who are young at heart, won first prize for the oldest at 96 years years of age.
