Twins Days Festival This Weekend

Organizers of the annual event hope the weather doesn't slow down the festival

This year's Twins Days Festival is expecting people from all over the country to attend.  Organizers hope that the weather doesn't slow down this year's events.

Friday through Sunday there is a slight chance for rain and thunderstorms, which could upset many of the outdoor activities planned for the festival.

The organizers of the festival will not let the weather bring the festival down.  This year the event has a circus theme, where anyone is welcome to come in costume for the events.  One of the event organizers, Sandy Miller, hopes that the turnout is as good as past years.

"The turnout last year was good, attendance depends on weather, economy etc., approximately 25,000 attended
through the weekend," Miller said.

Pre-registration is ahead of last year's festival, she said, but the weather could change everything once Friday rolls around.

People from all over the country and some from different parts of the world come to Twinsburg for the Twins Days festival.  Miller attributes the success of the festival to its fun attractions.

"It is fun, entertainment, children's rides and games, beer garden, firworks, it is a festival like all other festivals, with the exception it is a celebration of multiple birth," said Miller.
