Twins Days Volunteers Still Being Sought

Vance Venesky, the president of the Twinsburg Athletic Boosters, says they're very close to filling all the slots for volunteers to help run the festival Aug. 4-5.

"I have had a great response to the volunteer slots, needing 254 slots filled, we have about 10 left," Venesky wrote in an email Wednesday.

"With this being our first year coming up for pay to play, the sports teams have really stepped up to take most of the parking slots. Boys Baskteball, Girls Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Hockey, Swimming, Football, Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Baseball, Softball are the teams that took at least 1 time slot, some have taken 2. The money that we raise goes directly back into our sports program and more importantly helps the kids and coaches."
