11/7/2012 - Public Relations, Marketing, and Outreach Coordinator

The Twinsburg Public Library is searching for an energetic, enthusiastic person to plan and implement public relations and marketing activities.  Up-to-date technology skills and knowledge, and experience in graphic design a must (Adobe InDesign/Microsoft Publisher).  Library experience an asset, but not required.

Requirements for consideration: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Education, or equivalent work experience.  One to two years' experience in community or public relations, public information, print production, or a related field.

11/7/2012 - Language Instructor

The Twinsburg Public Library seeks Adjunct Instructors to teach one or two classes a week in 2013 for a period of 8 weeks per semester.  Instructors will be hired on a contractual basis, working with the Continuing Education Coordinator.

The Library hopes to add language courses in introductory conversational Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, or Russian for basic travel and business for adults, and basics for young children.  The instructors will develop curriculum and use instructional materials suitable for verbal and/or visual instruction of adult students and provide appropriate instruction and activities for students.

Courses are intended to be introductory.  Instructors must follow library procedures and policies, and must be able to commit to at least two semesters of classes per year.

Requirements for consideration: Bachelor's degree and teaching certification.  

As this is a contractual position, an employment application is not required.  Inquiries and resumes should be directed to Crystal Williams, Continuing Education Coordinator.  Open until filled, but first consideration will be given to resumes submitted before November 30, 2012.
