“I had the pleasure of meeting Ethan when he was 7 years old at a fundraiser for war refugees where Ethan raised thousands of dollars. I knew then I had met someone extraordinarily gifted,” says Anmar Sarafa, Executive Producer.  Sarafa, along with Gene Bortnick, Ethan’s father, are behind the concert and the upcoming 30-city concert tour.

The Cleveland area performance is scheduled for May 11, 2014 at 3pm at the Playhouse Square’s Ohio Theater. Ethan will be joined on stage by the R.O.C.c.K. Children's Choir & Aurora City Schools (under Katherine Lauson-Iriarte).

CDs and DVDs of the concert along with tickets to the live concert at the Ohio Theater are available by making a pledge to PBS on February 8th & 23rd during the telecast.  Says Sarafa, “It’s only through the pledge contributions that PBS can continue to bring free, high quality programs that are suitable for families and viewers of all ages. I encourage everyone to gather with family and friends to tune in. If you agree it’s one of best shows you’ve ever seen, then please make a pledge to PBS.”  For more information visit http://ethanbortnick.com/powerofmusictv.
