Blue Star Memorial Marker to be Dedicated at Twinsburg's Downtown Park, Oct. 20

The Twinsburg Garden Club will dedicate a Blue Star Memorial Marker to honor the men and women who have served, are serving or will be serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, on Sunday, October 20, at 2 p.m. The overall size of the marker and post is seven feet six inches. In case of rain the ceremony will be held in the VFW Post 4929.

The site of the ceremony is at the City of Twinsburg's downtown Babka Park on the north side of Ravenna Road, adjacent to the VFW Post 4929. At the end of the program, guests will walk across Ravenna Road to the City's triangular garden where the Blue Star Memorial Marker will be unveiled.

The dedication will feature approximate six speakers, patriotic music and a presentation of colors by members of the VFW Post. Refreshments will be served at the VFW Post following the ceremony.
