For more than three years now, a successful "army of community" has emerged in Kent, Ohio, and through a system of time exchange, we've managed to redefine the definition of work by supporting one another and trading time.
Our particular group, the Kent Community TimeBank, has grown to spur a hub in Twinsburg, Ohio, which now feeds into this nearly 600 member flagship group. There are more than 250 TimeBanks worldwide, and we have planted ourselves in 34 countries.

Essentially, there is a time account created in your name once you are activated. You are then able to trade time with other members by exchanging tasks for time credits. Members keep the giving going as they grow and spend timecredits between themselves and hundreds of other members.
To be a part of this (YOUR local) TimeBank community, which now spans three counties, you need only attend a single meeting where we learn how to navigate the group's software and explore how this organization operates. There are never fees to pay--only a commitment of mind to put into practice the 5 Core Values of TimeBanking.
