Anonymous Tip Leads Police to Heroin Bust
The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.
Twinsburg police were tipped off on Aug. 9 of a possible drug deal.
The caller said he knew a car would be coming back to Twinsburg after picking up drugs in Garfield Heights, giving officers a description of the car.
Officers pulled the car over around 9 p.m. at the Blue Top Motel.
The K-9 unit alerted police that there were illegal drugs in the car. After a search police found a plastic bag with heroin inside.
A 46-year-old Ravenna man was charged with possession of heroin and taken to Solon Jail.
