Bedroom Ransacked While Couple is Away: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

A Twinsburg couple returned to their home on the 2100 block of Pebble Creek Drive on June 11 to find their master bedroom had been ransacked and some items missing.

Three girls drinking, one car, not 21

Three women under 21 were caught driving in a car after drinking on June 14. Police saw the car weaving on Chamberlin Road near Laurel Drive and the driver, a 19-year-old Mogadore woman, was charged with underage drinking and drunken driving. The two passengers, ages 19 and 20, were also cited for underage drinking and released at the scene.

Can't sleep it off in your car

On June 12 an officer found a man sleeping in his car outside Sassy's Bar and Grill on Ravenna Road. He was arrested for physical control and had a .163 blood-alcohol content, well over the legal limit of .08.

Not the smartest move

Police were called to General Electric on Darrow Road June 14 for an alarm. They talked with a member of the cleaning crew who smelled like alcohol and proceeded to get in his car and drive off in front of police. He was arrested for drunken driving with a blood-alcohol level of .132.

Way to show no restraint

On June 15 an officer pulled over a car on I-480 for following closely. He was also charged with drug abuse for having several marijuana buds and child restraint violation.
