Man Charged for Assault After Getting Fired: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On Feb. 20 the responded to , on Midway Drive, after it was reported that a man was assaulting another man after he was fired. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with both men. The victim had visible injuries from the altercation. The other man, who was being terminated, a 41-year-old Brunswick native, was arrested and charged with assault. He was given a court date and released on a $500 PR bond.

On Feb. 17 officers stopped a car on I-480 East and found the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for drunken driving and went to the station  for a blook-alcohol test. He was charged with drunken driving, blood-alcohol level and multiple traffic violations.

On Feb. 18 police responded to a loud noise complaint at the 2400 block of Ashdale Drive. Officers located a party taking place at that address. After investigating, two men were arrested for underage drinking. The 21-year-old
resident of the house was charged with Ohio's "keg law," or allowing underage people to drink on his property.

On Feb. 18 Twinsburg police assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a stop on I-480 West. The driver, a 34-year-old Garfield Heights man, was found to have an active warrant with the Cuyahoga County Sheriffs Office for failure to appear for a nonsupport hearing. He was taken into custody by the Highway Patrol. The passenger, a 35-year-old Cleveland man, was found with a baggie of suspected marijuana. He was cited for misdemeanor possession of
marijuana.

On Feb. 19 police were dispatched to for a report of damage to property. The school janitor said an exterior light was damaged. No suspects have been identified.

On Feb. 20 a woman told police her credit card number was stolen. She
had several fraudulent transactions on her bank account and the bank had advised her to file a police report.
