Bogus Adderall Prescription Leads to Felony Charges

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

A man was arrested by Twinsburg police after trying to purchase a prescription drug with false information on July 3.

Ryan Demassimo, 24, of Hudson, was charged with deception to obtain a dangerous drug, illegal processing of drug documents and forgery, all felonies.

According to police, a pharmacist at Walgreens reported that a man was attempting to use a false prescription for Adderall, a stimulant used to treat narcolepsy and ADHD.

Demassimo returned to pick up the prescription when he was arrested. He was taken to Solon Jail.
