Brooklyn Trio Charged With Physical Control, Disorderly Conduct at GetGo

This just proves that even when off duty, cops are still on the job.

On June 23 while at the on Hadden Road, an off-duty officer noticed several drunk people in a car and wandering around the store. He called the station for police assistance.

Kenneth Suering, 40, of Brooklyn, Ohio, was charged with physical control and Melody Shelnick, 39, and Patrick Wilson, 39, both also of Brooklyn, were charged with disorderly conduct.

The off-duty officer told police that the three appeared to be drunk; Suering was sitting in his car with the keys while Shelnick and Wilson were "stumbling around the store," according to the police report.

Police said Suering's eyes were bloodshot and that he smelled strongly of alcohol as he spoke.

Suering failed several sobriety tests and was arrested for physical control, after sitting in his car with the keys. He blew a .155 on the breathalyzer test, .075 over the legal limit.

Police said the two passengers stumbled out of the store. Shelnick admitted to being drunk, while Wilson denied. He then failed short sobriety tests and the pair were arrested for disorderly conduct.
