Cleveland Man Parks In Yard, Warrant Parks Him In Jail

An East Cleveland man found himself in handcuffs after police found an active warrant for him

Sometimes just staying on the road can keep keep you out of jail.

Willie Jackson Jr., 42, of East Cleveland, found this out the hard way.

On March 10 police responded to a Shepard Trail home in Twinsburg after Jackson got his car stuck in the homeowner's yard.

Jackson's first strike: He didn't have a valid driver's license.

His second strike: Officers found an active warrant from the Maple Heights Police Department for falsification.

He was arrested and charged with driving without a license and held on $500 bond.

The owner of the yard Jackson parked in told police he wouldn't need any further action.
