Couple's Loud Fight Leads to Drug Bust: Police Blotter

Twinsburg police were called to a motel on the 9400 block of Ravenna Road around 6:45 p.m. on May 24 for a couple loudly arguing outside.

When police arrived they realized that fight was only verbal, however, a quick room search revealed a metal smoking device with marijuana reside and marijuana.

The man was arrested for drug possession and also had a warrant for his arrest from Streetsboro.

Grand theft: On May 24 a Twinsburg man reported his car was stolen from his home on the 9900 block of Darrow Park Drive seven days earlier.

That's a knife: Police pulled a car over on I-480 on May 25 for swerving and arrested the male driver for drunken driving. During the arrest a knife was found in his pants pocket. He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

Domestic violence: A 29-year-old Garfield Heights man told police his father, a Glenwood Drive man, assaulted him on May 26. The father was arrested for domestic violence and the son was arrested for possession of marijuana.
