Drunk Garfield Heights Man Caught After Hit-and-Run: The Blotter
The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.
A Garfield Heights man couldn't escape after a hit-and-run incident on June 6.
John Lee-Sean, 23, was charged with drunken driving and drug possession after officers caught up with him behind the BP on S.R. 82.
Macedonia police reported that Lee-Sean's car just fled the scene of an accident and was driving towards Twinsburg.

When he was finally stopped by Twinsburg officers they caught the strong smell of marijuana and alcohol in the car. They said he was "lethargic and slurring his words."
Raw marijuana was found inside his car.

Lee-Sean was cited by Macedonia police for leaving the scene of an accident.
Copper thiefs strike empty building
Nearly 300 feet of copper water line was taken from a 9044 Church St. building on June 4.
The real estate agent showing the building found it while showing the building that day, but it could have been stolen sometime during the past month.
Unknown persons entered the building by forcing open a below-grade basement entry door.
Where are my pills?
On June 5 a customer went to police because she thought her prescription was lost or stolen. The prescriptions were for Cymbalta and Ziac.
Drunken Driver
On June 6 police stopped a car on I-480 for weaving.
The man was subsequently arrested and charged with drunken driving, weaving and having an open container in a motor vehicle.
