He said no bones were broken, but he was sore and scraped up from the pavement.

Several witnesses identified Kim as the driver, who later admitted he had been drinking and "demanded" he be taken into custody.

Police said Kim "dropped to his knees and stated that he should be arrested for killing" Taylor, continuing to put himself in a position to be arrested.

When asked how much he had to drink, he told officers "not much" and then saying "four to five beers." He eventually admitted to drinking five 22 ounce beers before driving, the report said.

Police said Kim refused field sobriety tests because he knew he was drunk and was arrested for drunken driving.

According to the report, Kim urinated in the back of the cruiser

His blood-alcohol level was .199, well over the legal limit of .08.

He told police he wasn't paying attention when he hit Taylor and estimated his speed at 45 miles per hour.

Kim was also charged with drunken driving and other traffic violations.
