Drunken Driving Reports: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

On May 11 Twinsburg police pulled over a Toyota Camry at after the driver threw wrappers out the window. 

Police smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic on the driver, who was a Stone Creek resident. After he failed several sobriety tests he was arrested and charged with drunken driving and littering.

On May 11 police received an anonymous complaint of a possible drunk driver leaving on Darrow Road.

An officer found the car and stopped it for a turn signal violation. After an investigation, the driver, a Twinsburg woman, was arrested for drunken driving.

On May 11 police pulled over a car with only one headlight heading east on S.R. 82.

When the officer got behind the car he saw it weaving.The driver, a Cleveland woman had a suspended driver's license and showed signs of impairment.

She told police that she had some wine and after failing field sobriety tests, she arrested and charged with drunken driving and driving under suspension.

On May 14 officers stopped a car for running a red light.

The  driver was charged and arrested for drunken driving and disobeying a traffic light.
