Emergency Crews Unable to Aid Unresponsive Elderly Woman
An 84-year-old Twinsburg woman was found by her daughter
The daughter of 84-year-old Dorothy Collier called paramedics to help her mother, but it was already too late.
Collier's daughter said her mother was fine when she last checked on her at 2 a.m. on Feb. 23. When she came back at 7 a.m., Collier didn't respond.
When emergency crews got to the Waldo Way residence, they couln't find any signs of life. A doctor from University Hospitals in Bedford pronounced her dead at 7:17 a.m.

Collier was recently diagnosed with "end stage dimentia, weight loss, and failure to thrive."
The daughter said her mother hadn't been eating or been out of her bed in two weeks.
