Equipment Taken From Twinsburg Cemetery

The grounds foreman for a city cemetery said he discovered several expensive pieces of equipment went missing

On June 16 police got a call about a theft from Crown Hill Cemetery on Darrow Road.

The grounds foreman for the cemetery said he discovered that several pieces of equipment used to keep the grounds in order were gone from the maintenance garage.

The items included two chainsaws worth $650 combined, a hedge trimmer worth $300 and a leaf blower worth $300. The total value of the property was $1,250.

According to the report there was no sign of forced entry into the maintenance garage and the items were last seen on Memorial Day. The foreman said he didn't suspect any of the employees because they are allowed to use the equipment whenever they want. None of the employees were borrowing the equipment at the time.
