Fire at Chinese Restaurant in Twinsburg

Fire officials are still investigating what started the fire Sunday evening.


Authorities are still investigating the cause of a fire that damaged Beijing Garden at 7:04 p.m. Sunday in Twinsburg. 

The Chinese food establishment reportedly filled with smoke at 7995 Darrow Rd. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the kitchen area, reports the Akron Beacon Journal. 

Water and smoke damage is estimated to be about $10,000. No injuries were reported. A few businesses nearby were evacuated at the time of the fire, according to Ohio.com
