Fired Dr Pepper Employee Accused of Stealing $5,000: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

On Monday, April 16, were called to the Dr Pepper/Snapple bottling plant for a theft.

According to police, supervisors believe that a recently-fired employee walked away with $5,000 from the business this year. The case is still under investigation.

Police pulled over a car on April 16 after it left the on Ravenna Road in expired plates. 

Not only did the driver have a suspended license, but the passenger was carrying ecstasy and marijuana.

During a search of the car officers found a stolen credit card and other drug paraphernalia.

Kicking down the door

A resident at a 9943 Darrow Park Road apartment called police on April 17 because someone tried to kick down their door.

They told police someone was trying to get into the apartment when they tried to kick it in.

The door jam was splintered and wouldn't shut completely, but nothing else was damaged.

My big "fake" payday

On April 17 officers were called by Nyack Metals on Edison Boulevard after they said someone created a check for $6,935.71 and cashed it four days earlier.
