Fired Employee Hits Co-Worker With Chair, Charged With Assault

The following information is from the Twinsburg Police Department.

A Warrensville woman is in a little more trouble than losing her job after she threw a chair at another employee when told she was terminated.

The 32-year-old woman was fired from a business at the 1900 block of Summit Commerce Park on Aug. 22.

She didn't take the news well.

According to the , she became very angry and shouted obscenities at the three employees in the room, eventually picking up and throwing a chair at one.

The victim was struck in the leg, but was OK.

The next day the victim told police she wanted to file assault charges.

The employer told police the fired woman was no longer allowed on the property and asked they pay special attention to keep her away.
