Gas n' Go: Nervous Woman Steals Gas but Leaves Credit Card

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

With the recent decline of gas prices, you might think people would be less inclined to steal it.

On September 17, just before midnight, an employee of the gas station in Twinsburg called police to report a drive off.

The employee said a female entered the store to "pay for gas" while her friend pumped it. After speaking with a sheriff's deputy, the employee said the female "became visibly nervous and abruptly left the store, leaving her credit card on the counter," according to the police report. The female at the pump then threw the gas nozzle on the ground and they both took off with $54 worth of gas.
