Horses Running Wild at Liberty Park: The Blotter

The following information is provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

had an interesting call on Friday, April 6.

Officers had a report of three horses running wild at Liberty Park. Police found the animals near the park's soccer fields and had the owner retrieve them.

The owner was cited for letting animals at large, a minor misdemeanor.

Tequila makes the cuffs come on

Police stopped a car on Hadden Road when they found an open tequila bottle and bag of marijuana in the car on April 7.

Two passengers were wanted on warrants and the driver was cited for several violations, including open container and drug abuse.

Man on the run

Twinsburg officers were caught up in a chase on April 7 helping Macedonia police in a pursuit entering Twinsburg on State Route 82.

After finding the car, officers picked up the chase for several miles until both cars left the chase at SR 44 and SR 43, immediately returning to the city.

Who let the dog out?

A Post Road resident called police on April 7 to report a dog at large.

Officers responded and found the dog's owner, who was issued a citation for an animal at large -- a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
