Long Islands and Driving Don't Mix: The Blotter

The following information is from the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction

Police pulled over a car at the on East Aurora Road on May 14 for a cracked windshield.

After police found an open bottle of Long Island iced tea, the woman was arrested for drunken driving and released on bond.

Her car wasn't a pharmacy

On May 14 were called to an East Aurora Road business for a theft from a vehicle.

Items taken from the car included prescription drugs, like percocet, and $33 in cash.

That's a lot of peaches

A Darien Lane man told police on May 15 that someone had made charges with his MasterCard.

The man found a total of $1, 525.34 in purchases that he said were made in New York, New Jersey and Georgia over a two-week period which were verified with his monthly statement.
