Man Cited for Drug Tools During Psychiatric Situation: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Twinsburg police were called to an apartment at the 9300 block of Ravenna Road for a psychiatric situation on Nov. 22.

A woman who was staying with the resident told police the man said he wanted to die and overdosed on medication. 

The fire department took him to the Cleveland Clinic Family Health and Surgery Center for treatment.

During the incident, however, police found a glass pipe with synthetic marijuana residue in the apartment.

The man was cited for drug paraphernalia possession.

Stolen iPhone at Rec Center

A Twinsburg man came into the police station to report a stolen iPhone.

He told officers he had been playing basketball at the Twinsburg Fitness Center and placed his phone underneath the hoop when the game began.

When the game was over he noticed that his phone was missing.
