Man Fired for Drinking On the Job Arrested For Driving Home

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Twinsburg police were tipped off that a drunk driver could be on the road on Aug. 9 around 3 p.m.

An employee of an Enterprise Drive business told police they were going to fire an employee for drinking on the job and he would likely try to drive home drunk.

Sure enough, 20 minutes later they called back and said the fired employee was leaving the business .

Police caught up with the man at Darrow and Highland Roads and he was arrested for drunken driving.
