Man Runs Car Into Fire Hydrant: The Blotter
The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department
Police were called to W. Idlewood Drive at 12:35 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 because a Twinsburg man ran his car into a fire hydrant. Police said the man appeared to be drunk, and after a field sobriety test, he was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired. The car was towed and the man was released on a $500 bond.
A Waldo Way man told police at 3:09 p.m. Dec. 3 that his wallet was stolen from an unlocked locker at the on Dec. 1. He said someone used his credit cards to purchase $4,000 in merchandise.
Police responded to a report of a man walking in and out of traffic on I-480 on Dec. 5 at 12:05 a.m. Officers said they found the man "staggering" on the shoulder of the highway, drunk. The man was arrested and released to his mother on bond.
