Marijuana Motorist; Missing Person Reappears: Twinsburg Police Blotter

The following was obtained from Twinsburg police reports dated Feb. 19-20. It does not indicate convictions.

Marijuana motoring

On Feb. 20 at 11:22 p.m., Twinsburg police pulled over a 33-year-old University Heights man on Interstate 480 after finding a minor warrant had been issued against him.

Police searched the vehicle and found a burnt marijuana cigarette in the man's jacket.

He was cited with possession of marijuana, released on scene and is set to appear in Stow Municipal Court.

Police responded to the 1700 block of Rolling Hills Drive on Feb. 19 at 8:35 a.m. after a woman reported her husband was missing.

According to the Twinsburg police report, her significant other had left for a job interview at 9 a.m. on Feb. 18, but had not returned.

The husband resurfaced on Feb. 20 and informed officers "he just needed some time alone," according to the police report.
