Officers Bike for Special Olympics

Two Twinsburg Police Officers ride in the Ohio Law Enforcement Torch Run

Lt. Bob Gonsiewski and Lt. Michael Nakata rode bikes four miles Wednesday to raise money for the Special Olympics.

Their efforts were part of an event called the Law Enforcement Torch Run.  They biked down Darrow Road, starting at Heinens Grocery Store and ending at Marcelita's Restaurant.

The event started at 8 a.m. in Cleveland and goes 19 miles.  Most of the people at the event run, but Lt. Gonsiewski and Lt. Nakata did what they know best, ride bikes.
