Pair Accused of Stealing from Corbett Demolition

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

While many in the community lamented the demolition of Corbett Farm, some tried to take advantage of it.

Police were called to the farm on Darrow Road on Oct. 1 after getting a report that two people were stealing from the property.

The owner of the excavating company working on the property told officers the pair had left, heading north on Darrow Road to Solon.

When stopped by police, the man who was driving said they had permission from the owner to be on the property and to take wooden beams.

But he wasn't able to give the name or information of the person who allowed them to be there. They didn't have written permission either.
