Pair Stiffs Twinsburg Restaurant, Then Gets Into Even Bigger Trouble

After police caught the duo that skipped out on their bill, they found a few more surprises

The next time these two folks decide to dine and dash, they may want to think twice before getting dessert next door.

A manager at on Creekside Drive called police on May 15 when a man and woman decided to skip out on their $27 dinner bill.

Officers found the truck, described by employees, that the pair drove off in going into the just down the street. When confronted by police, Timothy Lee, 31, of Hubbard, and his female friend, said they were going back to pay for the bill after they got some ice cream.

A background check on the two found that both had suspended licenses and they arrested the woman for driving under suspension. When they searched the car, police found a bag of marijuana, a Vicodin pill and an open beer can.

This discovery made Lee change his tune. He originally told police his friend was driving because he didn't want to get in trouble over his record. He was charged with drug abuse, possession of marijuana, open container, and driving under suspension.

His female friend went back to Brewsters to pay the bill. They were politely asked never to come back.
