Police Break Up New Years House Party, Stop Underage Drinking

Twinsburg Police broke up a house party with dozens of people and cited the homeowner for allowing underage drinking, according to a police report.

Police were called to a home on Cynthia Drive and told there was a house party going on with a bunch of kids on New Year's Eve.

Officers arrived at the party, which had as many as 35 guests, and cited 5 people for alcohol related offenses, including the resident, a 23-year-old man. He was cited with providing a residence for underage alcohol consumption, according to the police report.

Three people were charged with underage drinking, one of which was a 16-year-old girl also charged with obstructing official business for lying to police.

Later that same night, another party guest was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after she got into argument with police.
