Police Break Up Parking Lot Pot Party

Twinsburg Police bust three people smoking marijuana in a truck after a complaint from local resident

Police got a call from a Presidential Parkway resident on March 3 because a truck had been sitting in a nearby parking lot for some time with several people inside.

When officers got there they found three people in the truck and could smell burned marijuana from 10 feet away.

Sitting inside the cab were Artem Kisilev, 18, and Tiara Payne, 19, both from Twinsburg. Joshua Hooks, 20, of Reminderville, was sitting in the truck bed.

When cops asked them to produce any drugs they had Kisilev said they smoked all the marijuana before police got there. When police asked again, he handed them a cigarette packet with some blunts and loose marijuana inside. They found nothing else.

Kisilev and Payne were charged with possession, but Hooks was given to the Solon Police Department for an outstanding warrant.
