"Yesterday [March 3, 2013] was the 16th anniversary of my employment with the city of Twinsburg. When I was offered a position as a police officer for this city on March 3, 1997, I readily accepted because I felt it was a great step forward for me in my law enforcement career — an opportunity to serve as a police officer in a growing suburb. However, I ended up with so much more. Twinsburg is my home. The sense of community here is like no other my wife or I have ever experienced. It's a wonderful place to work, to live and to raise our children. In both good times and difficult times, this community has continued to trust and support the Twinsburg Police Department. While I am proud to serve as your chief, I am even more proud to belong to this community. We are Twinsburg and we are special."
