Superintendent Kathi Powers sent a phone message out to Wilcox parents informing them that their children are safe and learning at the school.

Here is the text of her complete message to parents:

This is Kathi Powers your Superintendent.  Today is Tuesday, March 12 and I am calling to inform you that we had a police response at Wilcox today that was unrelated to students attending that school.  This incident was not a disruption to your child’s day as the students were not aware of the concern. I am calling to merely inform you of the police response and to assure you that your child is safe and learning today at Wilcox.  Again, my intention for this call is to be certain you have accurate information.  Thank you.

Details on the incident are not known, but Twinsburg Patch is following up and will bring you information when we have it.
