Police: Drunk Driver Hit Snow Plow Then Fled

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On Saturday, Feb. 11 the got a report of car that struck a city snow plow then fled, near State Routes 91 and 82.

The driver of the snow plow gave police a description of the car as well as the license plate number.

Officers stopped the car on the 9300 block of Ravenna Road and spoke with the male driver. After talking with the man, they believed he was under the influence of alcohol.

He was taken into custody and given a breath test with a blood-alcohol level of .130.

The man was charged with drunken driving, leaving the scene of a accident, reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, and open container.
